Hi, I'm Leigh Anne — the maker, dreamer, and coastal enthusiast behind The Gray Finn.

The name says it all. The Gray Finn was born from my greatest inspiration: my two boys, Grayson and Finn. They are the heart of everything I create.

My journey into stationery started a few years ago when I designed invitations for my sister-in-law. I was so thrilled with how they turned out — and even more surprised by how much joy the process brought me. Recently, I created invitations for a co-worker, and the encouragement I received was the nudge I needed: it was time to share my creativity with the world.

Our family lives for the water — boating, fishing, crabbing, and soaking up every moment the coast has to offer. We're lucky enough to have a beach condo we escape to often, and our trips to coastal Florida are where the magic truly happens. It's there that I wander the shoreline collecting seashells, breathing in the salt air, and finding the inspiration that fuels every piece I make.

Every item in The Gray Finn shop is handmade with love and intention. From seashell-framed art to jewelry dishes and hand-painted pieces, I pour the beauty of the coast into everything I create. Most of the shells you'll find in my work are ones I've personally collected on those Florida shores — and for larger statement pieces, I source select shells from trusted vendors to bring even more of the ocean into your home.
